NNY CISM Team Fall 2011 - Individual Crisis Response Intervention and 1:1 Peer Support
This class (12 hour) is additional training for any active CISM or Peer Support Team member to further define and improve their crisis intervention skills. Topics include: Crisis Care Continuum, Individual Crisis Management Processes, 1:1 Peer Crisis Support overview, SAFER Model for 1:1 Peer Crisis Support interventions, Individual Crisis communications and skills, Recent CISM updates, What factors influence how people respond to traumatic events?, Assisting in identifying responder self care strategies Top Roles and Responsibilities of the CISM provider.
